Judy Brock Bell, 59, of Climax, GA, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Brock Cemetery with Donald Barber, Steve Brock, Phil Long, Jeff Rich, John McClenney and Jerry Jones serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.

Judy Carole Brock was born May 20, 1958 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Rufus and Eloise Scott Brock. She was a graduate of Bainbridge Christian Academy and furthered her education at Young Harris College and the University of Georgia where she majored in history. She married Andy Bell on June 23, 1995 and together they enjoyed traveling to various places across the United States. Included in their travels were numerous National Peanut trips. Judy loved working alongside Andy educating people on the uses and benefits of peanut products.

Judy had a strong love for literature and was an avid reader. She was a member of a book club along with several of her closest friends. No matter the subject, Judy enjoyed delving into a good novel at any time of day. Aside from books, Judy was a devout Georgia Bulldog fan. She loved attending football games, both in Athens and away at various stadiums, with friends and family. Although the Bulldogs’ record was not always a pleasing one, Judy never faltered in her faith of the Red and Black. Judy attended Prosperity Primitive Baptist Church and Sutton Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Andy Bell of Climax, GA; her furbaby, Punky; her sister, Joye B. Green and her husband, Tim, of Bainbridge, GA; her nieces which she considered to be her own children, Tina Kinchen and her husband, Casey, of Bogart, GA and Katie Jo Dixon and her husband, Frank, of Camilla, GA; her mother-in-law, Emma Jean Bell of Climax, GA; her sisters-in-law, Billie Jean Rich and her husband, Lane, of Climax, GA and Nancy McClenney of Cairo, GA; her brother-in-law, Buster Bell and his wife, Lynda, also of Climax, GA; her great-nephews, Brock Kinchen and Tripp Dixon; her great-niece, Liza Kate Dixon; and a host of other nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Eloise Brock.
