Judith Darley Gibbs, 71, of Turlock, CA, formerly of Southwest Georgia, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Delwood Baptist Church with Rev. David Pickering officiating. Interment will follow at Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery with the Men of Delwood Baptist Church serving as active pallbearers.

Judith Ann Darley was born May 9, 1946 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Howard Darley and Minnee Lee Smith Darley. She was a graduate of Camilla High School and worked as an office manager until her retirement. Judith was married to Larry Gibbs who preceded her in death. She made her home for the last forty years in California. Judith was of Baptist faith.
“Family first” was the mantra Judith lived by. She has been described by those she loved as selfless, mild mannered, always giving and slow to anger. She nurtured her family and taught them the benefits of unconditional love. Judith enjoyed cooking (especially baking), playing a round of golf and working on arts & crafts.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Baba and her husband, Robert, of Turlock, CA; her brother, John Howard Lewis of Colquitt, GA; her grandchildren, Macy and Brandon; and her great-grandchildren, Sophie and Brandon, Jr. In addition to her parents and her husband, Judith was preceded in death by her brother, Stacey Darley.
