On Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at 1134 hours, Captain Ken Davidson met with Scott Addison in the lobby of the Decatur County Sheriff Office. Addison told Capt. Davidson that he works for Title Max in Bainbridge Ga. Addison stated that 60 days ago on December 4, 2017 Title Max repossessed a vehicle. Inside the vehicle was a .22 caliber revolver. Addison stated that per Title Max policy he held the gun for 60 days and then brought it to the DCSO for destruction.

Mobley made contact with Eleazar inside the residence, placed him under arrest, and transported him to the Decatur County Jail without incident.

On February 1, 2018, at approximately 1810 hours, Deputy Justin Kelly responded to the area of Boyett Road at its intersection with Antioch Church Road, in reference to an Agency Assist. Deputy Kelly had been notified via Decatur/Grady 911 that 3 black males had left the scene of an accident on Fewell Road. The males were approached by law enforcement on Antioch Church Road near Boyett Road. Upon the law enforcement officer making contact, the three males fled on foot.
