February 19, 1945 – February 18, 2018

Mary Reynolds, 72, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA with Clint Thomas, Brad Reynolds, Jim Reynolds, Justin Reynolds, Ben Moreno, Blake Harrell and Phillip Williams serving as active pallbearers.

Mary Ellen Emanuel was born February 19, 1945 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of George Merritt Emanuel and Selma Cox Emanuel. She was married to Jimmy Reynolds and made her home in Donalsonville where she raised her children. After moving to Bainbridge, Mary was an instructor at Bainbridge State Hospital. She was of Baptist faith.

Mary loved people and never seemed to meet a stranger. Her old fashioned values lead her to help anyone in need and she found a niche at Bainbridge State Hospital where she could both love and help others. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and making memories with her children and grandchildren whom she adored.

Survivors include her children, Kevin Reynolds and his wife, Amy, of Thomasville,GA, Chris Reynolds and his wife, Mandy, of Fultondale, AL, and Karen Moreno Williams and her husband, Phillip, of Bainbridge, GA; her sisters, Grace Davidson of Donalsonville, GA and Marie Gullage of Humboldt, TN; her five grandchildren, Jim Reynolds and his wife, Brooke, Justin Reynolds, Eufrosina Moreno and her fiancé, Blake Harrell, Rachel Reynolds Thomas and her husband, Clint, and Ben Moreno; and her four great-grandchildren, Ava Reynolds, Carra Reynolds, Mary-Ella Reynolds, and Jansen Reyn Thomas. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband.
