Janet Williamson, 70, of Colquitt, GA, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Dean officiating. Interment will be at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Janet Williamson was born January 27, 1948 in Hickory, NC, the daughter of Winston L. Owenby and Velma Waycaster Owenby. Mrs. Williamson was a homemaker who loved her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and working in her flower garden. Janet was an active member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James Williamson of Colquitt, GA; her daughters, Bonita Mitchell and her husband, Chad, of Thomasville, GA, and Erin Williamson and her husband, Eric, of Savannah, GA; her brother, Ted Owenby and his wife, Susan, of Ocala, FL; and her grandchildren, Mikaela Touchton and her husband, Bryan, Tiffany Maxwell and her husband, Austin, James Grubbs, Dylan Grubbs, and Tristan Mitchell. In addition to her parents, Janet Williamson was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Lawrence and Brenda Dovel; and her granddaughter, Jessica Nichole Grubbs.
