On Wednesday, January 24, 2018, Decatur County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Vincent Edmond was located in Decatur County, Georgia. At approximately 7:10 AM, Investigator Vincent Edmond received a cell phone message from Decatur County Sheriff’s Office Chief Investigator Brian Donalson instructing him to go the Decatur County Fire Department at the Decatur County Industrial Park and look for some contraband that had been dropped off illegally for Decatur County Prison Inmates.

On Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at approximately 1227 hours, Sergeant Shelby Gale was on routine patrol when she passed a vehicle that she noticed was slowing down and pulling off the road. Upon Inv. Koonce’s arrival, she instructed to place both individuals under arrest for possession of a schedule 1 controlled substance. Sgt. Gale and Deputy King informed Jessie and Devonte they were under arrest at that point and would be transported to the County Jail. This case was turned over to Inv. Koonce.

On Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 1858 hours, Deputy Matt Reynolds was dispatched to 2331 Dothan Rd., S & P Travel Center, in reference to a subject they wanted trespassed from the property that was no longer on scene.

On Saturday, January 27, 2018, at approximately 0007 hours, Dep. Osborne issued Lobe a Citation for Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign & Citation for Driving While License Suspended. Dep. Osborne turned Lobe over to the Decatur County Jail for further processing.

On Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 0130 hours, Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle accident on Breedlove Road, just off Spring Creek Road. Deputy Garrett Wooten arrived on scene at 0134 hours and observed a white dodge truck on its roof, in the middle of the road. Deputy Wooten took possession of a Winchester Model 94 AE 30-30 rifle that was in the truck, at the request of TFC Brian Palmer. Rifle was then transported to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, where it was packaged and placed in a temporary storage locker.

On Sunday, January 28, 2018, at 1115 hours, Lt. Patrick Trolinger contacted Deputy Michael Musgrove via phone, in reference to a Runaway Juvenile. Lt. Trolinger advised Deputy Musgrove about an 11 year old juvenile that had run away from home and was located at the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office.

On Friday, January 26, 2018, at approximately 1200 hours, Sergeant Shelby Gale was contacted via phone by Heather Thornton. Thornton currently works for Behavioral Health Crisis’ Center in Thomasville. Thornton wanted to report a theft that had occurred involving one of her patients.

OFFENDER: REBA GRUBBS
On January 29, 2018, at approximately 2123 hours, Deputy Charles King and Deputy Gabriel Cofer were located at 146 Hand Road. Deputy King made contact with Reba Grubbs who had a contempt of court pickup order for child support. Deputy King arrested Grubbs and transported her to the Decatur County Jail without incident.
