Jody Mitchell Talley

Mr. Jody Mitchell Talley, age 43, passed away very suddenly on Saturday, June 16, 2018. A private family service will be held later.

Jody Mitchell Talley was born August 20, 1974 in Bainbridge, Georgia, to Donnie Ray Talley and Frances Faye McConnell Clements. Jody was a long-haul trucker. He loved being on the road. He would video his road trips and share it with his family. He enjoyed fishing. Jody was fun to know and very kindhearted. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Jody Talley is survived by his son, Aaron Talley of Attapulgus, Georgia; his mother, Frances Clements of Bainbridge; his father, Donnie Ray Talley of Lake Seminole, Georgia; siblings, Ollie Joe Talley and Jamie Thorpe, both of Bainbridge; grandmother, Doris Winters of Donalsonville, Georgia; and nieces, Elizabeth Lee Talley and Zoey Thorpe.

  1. Jody was a great brother I wish we would of had more time in the life I love you so everyone that knows you misses you deeply I can almost not bare it! Jody had a kind heart and loved everybody would talk to anybody a stranger that looked distressed he deeply loved his family and was always planning on spending as much time with later on after working hard a few years and being where he could relax take some vacation he was the best driver I ever met he could drive a truck matter the conditions He loved his parents and his son more than they would even know me being his brother and we were really close He was my one person in the world I could tell anything to completely he didn’t judge he was my friend as much as a brother I know your soul lives on in a better place but I don’t know what to do here without you!

It doesnt seem real, I expect you (Jody) to call me any day I still have you’re number in my phone just cant bring myself to erace it, i keep hoping this is a bad dream that ill wake up from and my phone will ring and it’ll be you’re name on the phone. I miss you every day that passes and I will miss you for the rest of my life the void you’re passing left can never be felled. I will always love you

  3. Grandma and I just talked about you, and realized it’s been a year already. I know you are stroking them guitar strings and providing a show up there. You were a mess and a half. I miss those crazy random calls and video chats. I’m hopeful that you are resting easy with no more doubt about this world. We miss you! We love you dearly. Until we meet again, your crazy girl cousin 😘 watch out for us down here.
