On Friday, August 3, 2018 at approximately 2126 hours, Deputy Gabriel Cofer responded to 145 Deese Road, Vada, Georgia, in reference to a domestic.

On Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 1422 hours, Captain Brad Lambert contacted Deputy Michael Musgrove via phone in reference to a sexual assault complaint and the victim was headed to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office front lobby.

On 08/04/2018, at approximately 0530 hours, Sgt. Presilla was traveling north on Vada Road, when a red in color car approached the intersection of Whigham Dairy Road and Vada Road. Sgt. Presilla observed the vehicle slow down and make a right turn onto Vada Road. The vehicle did not make a complete stop at the stop sign. Sgt. Presilla observed the vehicle began to accelerate very quickly.

On Sunday, August 05, 2018, at approximately 1942 hours, Decatur County Sheriff’s Deputy Raymond Day was dispatched to 131 Bethel Lane in reference to a dispute over property.

On Monday, August 6, 2018 Deputy Charles King was located on Spring Creek Road and Breedlove Road. On the date of July 31, 2018 Deputy King tagged, a blue Dodge Caliber SXT for impound that was left abandoned on the side of Spring Creek Road. Deputy King observed the vehicle was still on the side of the road on August 6, 2018 at approximately 0306 hours. Deputy King notified E-911 to send rotation to his location. Royce’s Towing arrived and towed the vehicle to Chapman’s Paint and Body.
