On Monday, August 13, 2018 at approximately 0720 Decatur County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Robert Humphrey was located at the Bainbridge High School for the morning safety check that is conducted by the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office during school hours. While at the location Inv. Humphrey and Decatur County Sheriff’s Office Michael Cox was alerted to a Fight in the hallway next to the cafeteria.

On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, Attapulgus Police Chief Vincent Edmond was off duty and located at his residence. Chief Edmond received a phone call from Attapulgus Public Works Director William “Billy” Brown. Brown reported that he had received a phone call from Attapulgus residence Donald Boyette who reported that his father Bobby Boyette’s residence had been broken into a 119 Engelhard Way. Chief Edmond responded to 119 Engelhard Way and notified Investigator Demetric Elijah of the Burglary.

On Saturday, September 1, 2018 at approximately 0242 hours, Deputy Charles King was on patrol on Spring Creek Road, located in Decatur County Georgia. Deputy King observed a vehicle approaching that had its bright lights activated. Deputy King slowed his patrol vehicle and activated his blue lights in attempt to make the vehicle dim its lights. The vehicle dimmed its lights reviling that the headlight on the driver side was out. Deputy King also observed as the vehicle passed the left tell light was out. Deputy King then turned and conducted a traffic stop on Spring Creek Road at Hales Landing Road.
