Harrison steps down as Chamber President

Adrienne Harrison has stepped down as Chamber President, effective January 25. Harrison has accepted a new position at Southwest Georgia Oil Company.

Harrison, who joined the organization in 2014 said, “I have loved my time here and the Chamber and truly appreciate all of the support I have received from the Board, membership and entire community.”

Under Harrison’s direction, the Chamber has restructured its membership investment system, relocated the fair to the Boat Basin, and most recently, rebranded itself. “We’ve accomplished a lot over the past four and a half years, and I’m looking forward to watching the Chamber continue to meet our businesses’ needs in new and innovative ways.”

Board Chairman Randy Logue said, “Adrienne has done a fantastic job making sure the Chamber remains financially secure while shifting its focus towards workforce development and advocacy. We are looking forward to her successor continuing to build on the strong foundation she has set.”

Logue, along with the Chamber’s Executive Committee, will lead the search for a new President. The job announcement can be found on the Chamber’s website, www.bainbridgegachamber.com and the position will be open until filled.
