Trent Olhausen graduates Fire Academy

On Friday, March 1st, Bainbridge Public Safety Cadet Trenton Olhausen was one of thirty-three proud graduates of the “Ready For Duty” Georgia Fire Academy Class at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth.

The Georgia Fire Academy Basic Firefighter Program includes eight weeks of intense training, the building of an indestructible team bond, and a lot of hard work.

Fire Chief Doyle Welch, and Engineer Jeff Kelly attended the graduation ceremony. Olhausen, who joined Bainbridge Public Safety in August of 2018, is a 2015 graduate of Bainbridge High School and attended Bainbridge State College (now ABAC).

On April 5th, Olhausen will continue his Law Enforcement endeavors to become a certified police officer when he attends the eleven-week-long Basic Mandate Law Enforcement program.
