Mary Robinson Scott, 49, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Waylon Day officiating. Interment will follow at Beulah Thomas Baptist Church Cemetery with Bradley Jacobson, Christopher Jacobson, Hector Bautista, Jason Alday, Donnie McLendon, and Jeremy Mills serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.

Mary Katherine Robinson was born April 26, 1969 in Granada Hills, CA, the daughter of Roger Robinson and Vera Louise Sizemore. Formerly of Mississippi, Mary moved to here in 1987 to make Bainbridge her permanent home. She was Baptist by faith. Family was the most important thing to Mary and she spent her days nurturing her children and grandchildren. Mary had a kind heart and generous soul. Her favorite past times included sewing, arts & crafts, and cooking. Everyone loved to see Mary bring baked goods to all the family gatherings, knowing full well she could make dirt taste good.

Survivors include her husband, Stevie Scott; her children, James Robinson and his wife, Tya, of Bainbridge, Chris Scott and his wife, Kristin, also of Bainbridge, and Jason Scott, and his wife, Amanda, of Atlanta; her mother, Vera S. Robinson; her siblings, Jennifer & Tommy Bryant of Climax, GA, Roger & Lisa Robinson of Gravid, AK, and Leslie & Tiffany Robinson of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Makaylee, Savannah, Madison, Isabella, Angelina, and Caleb; and her furry companion, Rebel. In addition to her father, Roger Robinson, Mary Robinson Scott was preceded in death by her step-dad, James Jacobson; and her brother, Chris Jacobson.
