Rhonda Carol Holt Greene

Rhonda Carol Holt Greene, age 53, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019. A private service was held at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Pastor Dan Harper officiated. Interment followed in Oak City Cemetery.

Rhonda Carol Holt was born January 13, 1966 in Arlington, Georgia, to Don Holt and Mary Jean Milliner Holt. She attended Southwest Georgia Academy. Rhonda worked with the court system for years. Twenty years ago, she married the love of her life, Jud Greene. Rhonda was a member of Iron City Methodist Church. She enjoyed visiting her many elderly friends and was always helping others. She loved her dogs and cats. Rhonda will be deeply missed by her many, many friends and her family.

Rhonda Greene is survived by her husband, James Judson (Jud) Greene; mother, Mary Jean Milliner Holt; sister, Donna Holt Godfrey (Ty); mother-in-law, Bobbie Greene; Brother-in-laws, Joel Greene and Lane Greene (Teressa); nephews, Bo Godfrey (Kristin) and Garrett Greene; nieces, Paige Godfrey Miller (Dee) and Tessa Greene; great-nephews, Parker and Hoake Godfrey and IV Miller. She was preceded in death by her father, Don Holt; paternal grandfather, Grady Holt; paternal grandmother, Grace McLendon; and maternal grandparents, Curtis and Ruth Milliner.

The family request, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Rhonda’s memory to Gideons International, P. O. Box 38, Bainbridge, Georgia 39818 or the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society, 1250 Cox Avenue, Bainbridge, Georgia 39819.

  1. Rhonda you were the best friend anyone could ask for. You helped everyone who crossed your path in life. You will definitely be missed by so many people… expecially me . I still can’t believe you are gone.
