Carolyn Lewis Floyd, 79, of Eldorendo, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Eldorendo Baptist Church with Dr. Tom Kinchens officiating.

Carolyn Emelyn Lewis was born July 24, 1938 in Ochlocknee, GA, the daughter of George Elwood Lewis and Sallie Mae Griffin Lewis. She was a graduate of Ochlocknee High School, Class of 1955. Carolyn married C. H. “Sonny” Floyd, Jr. in 1956 and made her home in Eldorendo. She was a member of Eldorendo Baptist Church.
“Miss” Carolyn was a woman of few words. Her actions spoke volumes and her sweet spirit filled the room. She spent years serving customers at Marmon Key Stone, Stones, Ivey Funeral Home and Wholesale Steel Supply. “Miss” Carolyn was a member of the Thomasville Rose Society where she shared her love for growing roses and participating in rose shows.
Survivors include her husband, C.H. “Sonny” Floyd; her two sons, C. Robin Floyd and his wife, Ann, of Dillard, GA, and C. Tobin Floyd and his wife, Tammie, of Flowery Branch, GA; her grandchildren Chad Floyd, Dustin Floyd and Luke Floyd; and her great-grandchildren, Hailey Floyd, Jackson Floyd, Linley Floyd, Cooper Floyd, Griffin Floyd and Micah Floyd. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Calvin Lewis.
