Summer Reading Program

The Summer Reading Program is coming soon! Starting May 14, bring your child to the library to sign up and receive a reading log. Any child who completes a reading log and turns it in is invited to the grand prize drawing and to take a photo for the newspaper on July 19. The top 10 readers’ names will be listed in the newspaper. Learn more at swgrl.org/summer or by calling the library at 229-248-2665.

New Books at the Library

Come check out the new books that we have for you at the Decatur County – Gilbert H. Gragg Library! The Disappeared by C.J. Box, Shattered Mirror by Iris Johansen, and Magnolia Table: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering by Joanna Gaines with Marah Stets are just a few of the books that have just arrived. Get these and more at the library today.

Computer Classes

Our introductory computer classes are back at the library on May 15-17 at 10 am! Come learn the basics of using a computer, Microsoft Word, and the internet and email. If you are interested in attending the computer class, please register in advance by calling the library at 229-248-2665.

Bainbridge Bookworms

The Bainbridge Bookworms is our book club at the library! The club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 5 pm. The club will discuss Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, by David Grann on Tuesday, May at 5 pm. The club will read Waiting for Snow in Havana by Carlos Eire for the June meeting. If you are interested in joining, call the library at 229-248-2665, ext. 112.
